“Applecross ought to be on everyone's list of places to see before they die. The road to Applecross is the closest Britain comes to an Alpine pass. The journey is not as nerve-straining as it was 30 years ago, but it's still spectacular. The reward is arriving at a magical, truly remote, and beautiful place. There's nowhere better to stay in Applecross than Meall mo Chridhe, which is all you could ask for in a B&B.”
